A Poem: Journey

I’m going to leave the couch
And go somewhere relaxing
I’m going to make a journey
To my bed.

Before I got my eye put out,
I liked as well to see
As other creatures that have eyes,
And know no other way.

The Hoodwinked

Blind, deaf and dumb I stand before you, humbly numb to the cobbled ground beneath,

Nothing blooms nor flourishes, of much that would be obtained or inspired.

I hear the mocking and cut throat geering of the hidden foul

My nerves feel a tremble as the gnashes gather to dine

The gifted within my hand start’s to doubt,

As the spark, invites it’s prey

Of what new promises shall it give, to the uninitiated will of the blind

Now, reaching my journey’s end refers to my coming death.

Each breath delivers agape aghast, a precise time, a moment given.

An event to share, a thought to reflect upon,an embrace to connect.

A mind, a soul, the under belly of a broken shoe.

Nobody walks in a straight line.

Nobody knows, all is simply a theory.

Quick lets play Jenga, and repeat the game.

Lets pretend, play hid and seek, like smiling child eyes seeking mischief.

The times are the times, the years count the days, and minutes dictate the hours.

We lie awake, but dreaming, questioning the sand grains within ones hands, all is REAL and at large.

I hear the cry’s, see the gulls path, witness some kind of a truth, just underneath the veil, she has beauty but not unlike most girls of her stance.

Here! but were is here?

(a short poem I hope you like it)

This journey takes roughly 12 hours to plan some days :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Especially if you have insomnia.

Oh how I love to lay in my bed and relax

and let my imagination take me on a journey

and let my fantasies take me on a journey
