And want to recreate the experience?

That may or may not be true for me. Most of my family was pretty great, if you don’t count the one person responsible for all the abuse.

After all these years I wouldn’t know where to begin or what to say about either of my parents. As I’ve aged my sympathy and empathy for them has increased. I’m not at all sure if I ever loved them.
