A pet poll

I have a couple of very maladjusted cats. They’re both afraid to go outside. They panic when I act like I am going to put them out. One of them is a male, but I don’t have to worry about getting him neutered, because he is afraid to go outside. I scratch my cats a lot. They get into tiffs over who is getting the most scratching from me, but I am getting them over that.

This is what happens if I decide to eat dinner on the couch…I get “the Eye”.

Puppy visiting the bed. I’m sure y’all see the problem. We once had a cat give my husband the worst wakeup ever. He bit my husband’s toe through the blanket super hard. Hubby woke with a shout. (Cat was a total biter, though, and not love bites.) So we don’t need to add puppy bites to the wake up method list, too.

Charles prefers the super warm spots in the house and according to his standards my bed isn’t one of them.

He’ll come in my room to say hi but then he finds an excuse to leave quickly.

That sounds exactly like Orestes! He is always laying in the sunshine or laying in front of the heat dish, in the basement. He likes to run into a room, meow loudly for attention, and then quickly turn around and run to another room. Lol.

If you quickly bend down and scratch him or pet him, he’ll flop over and expose his belly for belly rubs. But it’s a small window between his loud meow for attention and when he runs away. :joy:

Your Orestes sounds like my Charles. He loves to plop over and get belly rubs. Heck he has me trained so well we just have to make eye contact and he will show me his belly. I take it as a compliment if a cat shows his or her belly to you. It is their most vulnerable spot.
