my car was getting checked at the garage so i got the train in to my clubhouse, had a nice lunch and then helped them with dishes (i done most)
about 100 plates to wash/dry, 50 cups/glasses, pots/pans, trays, cutlery, 20 bowls, luckily another member (who happened to be African) helped but i did most of it,
i quite like doing the dishes now and its a lot less stressful now so i can last longer without getting anxious and i like getting my hands warm and wet
after i went upstairs and helped out with some media, we edited a video and uploaded it on to the main clubhouse webpage
then my support worker wrote my appeals letters for me and i sent it in the post on the way home using the mental card why not?
Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up I noticed I was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
Somebody spoke and I went into a dream
they won’t do that, i gave them no reason to think i was a bad driver, just that i got anxious looking for parking and that i get benefits so i have little money to pay the fine,
tbh i am a better driver than most people although i do admit i get tired sometimes but if it was really bad i would pull over and rest or get some fresh air etc.
I thought you wanted to be a support worker yourself? This is not a good way to start. If you want to be taken seriously as a support worker, you will have to be able to write your own appeal letters, and others people’s, and not just “play the mental card” every time you get in trouble.
You don’t have to explain yourself. I’m sorry if my honest opinion can be a little harsh sometimes, but I’m not saying it to offend you. If you want to be responsible for others some time in the future, you should start now by being responsible for yourself.
Look, all I’m trying to say is that being a support worker is a very good goal, and that I hope to see you make all the effort you can to reach that goal, in every way necessary. Good night!
Always found repetitive work to be great for me. I could work like not too many and do really well at it. Production work and warehousing I did really well. These days it’s hard work though as I don’t get out of second gear…Glad you had a good day!
