A 5 year old told me she could play the piano. So I said “Really? Play me something.” So she doodled around a little. That was knowing how to her. I think it’s because children need to have a feeling of being accomplished. They are so small and unskilled that they make their own definitions of success. In her mind, she could play the piano. I didn’t correct her. That would just bring her down unnecessarily.
that’s nice of you =)
when she gets older she will realize she still has a lot to learn prob
She knew that if you pressed keys it made noises. That’s an awesome start.
I wish I still had kids around to play with. They’re so much fun, and so full of Wonder and Imagination.
My nieces and nephews have all grown up, and my Goddaughter just turned 16. I was talking to my nephew, Eric today and they had friends over who had an eight-year-old son. His new thing is trying to pull Eric’s arms off, LOL. I miss that
Whats a goddaughter? Never heard of it, google says it has to do with Christianity and adoption?
I remember thinking I could bake a cake and made a big mess. My mother was MAD.
Just so they don’t get the idea they can drive a car…
When a child is born, a Godfather and a Godmother are chosen to be the child’s Guardian. We are expected to provide some guidance, and be there should anything ever happen to the parents to make sure the child is well cared for
Oh ok, thanks for explaining.
