A belief that sleep is useless?

a belief that sneak to my mind
the belief is sleep is useless
sometime i dont want to sleep becoz of that
some time i sleep too much which become torturous becoz of this belief exist
sometime in the middle of day i need to sleep
which is not good feeling too

Most of the time I love sleep, but sometimes I don’t want to lose consciousness. My sleep patterns are very erratic. Sometimes it causes me trouble.

I’ve been there before. Especially when I used to sleep for 14 hours and had real difficulty hearing alarms. Felt like a zombie and that I was wasting most of my time not doing anything. But sleep is a requirement. All animals sleep. Its not something you can just opt out of.

My suggestion to you would be to get an alarm and set it so you have 9-10 hours of sleep a night, but still can get on with your life as much as possible. If you are doing more with the day time, I think you’ll probably find sleep more useful as you need it to recover energy.

Everything is a delusion now? It’s just a thought. Relax. Sleep is essential, but inefficient. Imagine a world where we had 24 hours of productivity. But our biology requires us to sleep.

I’ve gone weeks upon weeks without sleep. Eventually, you do need some. My max functionality was around two weeks. After that I’m a loss cause. Lack of sleep can be very addicting since it creates “high” like symptoms. I started doing it as a kid due to trauma. I sleep now, but its taken many years to learn how to sleep.

Every night I try to move running pictures in my mind that can shift into anything they want. I see some interesting stuff, the process usually puts me out.
