60s/70s Music

Everyone give me some suggestions for music during that era. Doesn’t matter how well known or unknown the band or musician is just want new stuff to listen to. Any recommendation is a good recommendation. The only foolish recommendations are the ones not recommended.

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, the Who, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, (jefferson starship later), Sly and the Family Stone, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Rush, KISS, The Stooges, Jethro Tull, Yes, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Joan Jett, that’s a start.

You might try a group called “Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show”. Their big hit was “On the Cover of the Rolling Stone”, which came out in the mid seventies. They have a wide range of styles, from the tender and romantic to the raunchy and loud. I always liked “When You’re in Love with a Beautiful Woman”
.
