we would have been in big trouble if we would’ve had to pay the bill on Angie’s car…it needed a fuel pump…mom said, I will pay it. I said we wanted to pay her back…she said, no.you have to have a car !! I feel humbled by her kindness and love…anyone else have a great mom?

My mom offers to pay for everything but usually I try to say no if I can. She often insists but I will insist the other way too. If that’s the case she says “what a great son you are!!!”
Yeah my parents far from perfect but they disproved the theory a long time ago that bad mothering caused sz!!!

My mom has passed but if she were here she would have totally paid the bill. But she would’ve let me pay it back in small amounts. If I had to skip a payment it would’ve been fine. I miss my mom so much. You’re so lucky you still have yours with you. Never take your time with her for granted. My one wish is just one last conversation with her. There’s so much of her wisdom I would tap into if I could.

I’m not going to lie, it’s hard. Even now, and it’s been 3.5 years. Sometimes the phone rings and I still think “oh that must be mom”, Or when something happens with one of my kids I go to reach for the phone to tell mom. Please cherish her now. Can you make a nice dinner for her and have her over and maybe make her a nice picture or something to say thank you?

yes, we are planning on getting her something really nice for Christmas. How very sad you are grieving for your mother…I am not close to my father and my step dad whom I called dad is gone since last year…she is my best friend and I can’t imagine what you must be going through.

My parents bought me a suit for my sisters wedding. Had been saving up but when I went to pay my dad stepped in and got it for me! How cool is that!?

That’s so awesome. They don’t even know how much difference they make in our lives by doing these things for us. When mom was here she would always shop sales online and buys us things we needed around the house. I know now how much of a help that really was. Even something as simple as tp when it was on sale she would buy it and then when we needed some she would always say “well just get some out of the pantry I have extral” And she would never take thanks.
