I have to be careful about showing off my crochet progress, because I was immediately asked to make them a scarf as well.
It’s unlikely (oh, I know about unlikeliness. I get lectures about unlikeliness) I might be needed to make help pants one day. I can learn how to mend shoes and sew leather tops onto soles. I know how to waterproof fabric and could fashion buttons. I daydream (I don’t know another word. I don’t want people to get hurt or for this to happen really) I overthink sometimes about no electricity, no internet.
- Energized, and I guess braggy
Are there any crochet/knit/textile makers busy with projects now?
Knitting socks is so cool, you sound excited. I can knit… a square. Or a rectangle, not exciting. I’d love to learn knitting because I see awesome stuffed animal patterns, and they’re always for knitting, not crochet.
Do you paint every day, or have a schedule for it?
I have learned to knit pretty much on my own, YouTube is full of good knitting instructions, at least in my language! Knitting a scarf is very easy, just keep on knitting and you’ll have a scarf!
This is what I’m knitting at the moment, I’m making leg warmers… it’s my first time knitting pattern, so it is very interesting and exciting.
Lately I haven’t been painting much, I’ve been doing more knitting stuff and other crafts. I am in some sort of art block. It is frustrating. But I keep myself busy with other projects.
Online portfolio is a good idea. I have a online portfolio, I have a domain and made a website for myself by myself. There are also online galleries such as deviantart. Putting up a gallery on social media is good too. I use deviantart and it is the main gallery I use, Instagram is another.
Right now my plot cards look like this, just messier. If I have time or I’m worried I’ll forget something I write random words or phrases or ideas or things to look up on the back.
