I remember reading someone on Facebook spouting vitriol that folk on benefits are scum for saying ‘pay day’. They insisted the term ‘pay day’ should be reserved for people who work. ■■■■■■■

I got paid from my job today - happens at the middle and end of the month. Mastercard gonna be sooooo happy. My wife gets paid once a month on the 25th.

I only recently signed up for direct deposit. Direct deposit benefits in Trinidad come on the 1st or 2nd of the month.

I get it on the first friday or the 3rd of every month. Depends which comes first. This Friday! I have negative 140 bucks right now and my gas tank is empty. Looking forward to some money

I wish I could get a disability payout but they rejected me because my husband can afford to support me. But it would have been nice to have money of my own… 
I am unemployed so don’t earn anything. Only a pittance of an allowance a few hundered rand which is about 20 dollars a month

I didn’t get paid. We live off of my husband’s salary.I used to get SSI, but not antmore. We have too much household income for me to get SSI.
