I worked at Kohl’s for three years. A couple of years ago there was a class action suit against Kohl’s by several employees. Kohl’s was accused of not paying overtime. not giving earned breaks and some other things. I got a letter in the mail with the details and they said anyone who worked there between 2004 and 2016 were part of the suit and was entitled to money. I worked there from 2007-2010. Well, tonight I finally got my money, a check for a $100! I’m deciding whether to stick it in the bank or blow it on something I want.

When I worked at Walmart in 2012 they wanted me to come in early and stay late but we weren’t supposed to work overtime. They also wanted me to come in on my days off. I’m so glad I’m not working there anymore.
