Just because it might not hit main stream news doesnt mean it doesn’t exist or is science fiction…Besides, historically much of science fiction become real after so many years…going back to Jules Verne envisioning travel to the Moon that everyone thought was crazy at the time.
Another thing people think is fictional is antigravity…where a device can float in air without any traditional propulsion system producing horsepower or thrust. But it does exist and works by an electrical field and electromagnetics. My wife worked in this field and build small scale antigravity (IGV) devices that actually floated up in the air without a motor. I’ve seen it myself…My wife worked with these people:
