A Trip inside the Schizophrenic Mind

Mmm that makes sense, thanks. I have a level of control over hypnogogic hallucinations that I don’t have over my psychotic hallucinations. I was thinking if hallucinogenic hallucinations were similar to hypnogogic which I suspected, I would be able to control them to an extent as well and thus study them better. Hypnogogic hallucinations can be very difficult to study because they can vanish so quickly if you become too conscious. Studying anything while half conscious is difficult…and you can lose some memory of the experience when you snap to as well…

It depends how much you have. Also the hypnogogic comes from deep within your mind in the first place and although you may have some control over your sense of self they can quite easily take on a life on their own before you know it. That is why some people have bad trips sometimes. They can be extremely frightening. It really is not recommended for people with sz whose sense of imagination is a little warped to begin with.
