It’s specialized adult content, by that I mean adult content over one thing only. Nothing special.
But I don’t like when they include it in normal tv shows (game of thrones comes to mind). It feels like it’s only done to attract more audience or to try (too hard) to be cool and contemporary. In a cheap way.

Okay, I misunderstood again.
Though I feel it’s good when parents talk about such things… it’s better to know things about sex from parents, than other ppl.
though, sometimes, when they talk too often (as my parents sometimes do when they use alcohol) it can be problematic.

I think porn is destructive to the mind, you put garbage in your mind you will get garbage coming out of your mind. Very bad for the soul in my opinion

I think porn is a cult
I don’t like it. It’s not normal and the acting is very disrespectful in most cases considering they are acting on something that is supposed to be holy for people in a way. I mean there might be some porn that tries to portray sex in a normal way, but the vast majority is garbage.
I got exposed to it when I was 14 years. It has messed with my perception on intimacy. I feel kind of unlucky growing up at the same time internet became available to most people.
And society in the west is not sending the right signal by not making it easy blocking it. For example in China and Thailand they block porn on the internet. This helps protect children, and also sends a signal to the population that porn is not desirable. Maybe this is kind of extreme, but if you are gonna keep kids safe it is the right thing to do.
I find it much better to rely on my imagination if I need sexual stimuli.

Protecting children is very important. My life is also a bit worse, because I started watching porn at a young age.
And it definitely messes with imagination in some or other way…
And there are videos which are very disrespectful for women, mainly.
Though I still think there are way worse things.

To be clear, I believe porn which is legal, and “normal” is ain’t that bad. It can even be helpful for getting to know yourself better.
But it shall be watched when you’re adult.
And some themes of porn are ugly by nature… but the actually normal porn is alright

I guess making porn illegal won’t fly well, but maybe blocking it on the internet and only allowing sale on physical media like dvd or memorystick could be a solution to help make it easy to ageverify people. But so far there is little will to change the system.

I feel the same, it’s better with a partner, overall it’s more natural. But masturbation is nothing really bad.
Ofc it depends on type of porn as I mentioned before.
And not getting too much involved into porn

Truth… it’s the same like with other things. The whole system is like “out of date”, I can’t find the right word now. Some things cannot be changed, as it seems. But in real, they can be changed, just no one does anything to change them.

The actors are basically prostitutes. Whether prostitution is good for people requires an egalitarian shift to prove interest…
