Those were just two that came to the top of my mind.

I haven’t really listened to music in a very long time. It messes with my head. I read double/ triple meanings into lyrics and song titles and Band names…etc…

I’m also avoiding TV and movies and other websites.

Great topic, though! I hope some others reply as well!

Hmm.

I Said WISE PROPHET @anon39054230.

It’s 70’s and not my favorite band or era but it sums up relationships pretty well for me…

Got Quite The Ticket For 90’s Music.

I grew up on 80’s/90’s alternative rock from a background of Male classics like Pink Floyd, my first band crush and stuff like Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull.

Still. My ex in the states got me into traditional 60’s English Pop…the beatles and American mainstream which really was quite eclectic so stuff from The Loving Spoonful etc…

It pays to go back over the era’s and listen to radio staples. There’s usually a good reason why a good song is a good song. Honestly. I wouldn’t tell my friends I listen to Fleetwood Mac but they had some seriously good songs.

haha Touche as Arcade Fire’s the Suburbs was a superb album and I’m a serious fan but my message remains the same.

If the business men could drink my blood like the kids from art school said they would…

Yeah. Fleetwood Macs Rumors was written by a band in relationships falling apart. It was brutal. It was real and these lyrics resonate with me…are you a kid from Art School @ATARI ? You like a lot of fluff and sometimes real emotions are so much more worthwhile than scoring intellectual ones…

Hmm.

Well…, Sorta. . . . . . .

Keeps you occupied and no meaning for other folk? Seems not much different from masturbation of an intellectual concern…

Seriously dude. Tired from a long day at work but have a listen to Rumors. It has some good songs and when you know what happened in those sessions where they recorded it it all makes some sense.

Keep your mind open…I try to do it for you but you don’t confound me…I just get tired of chasing shadows with language as I hold it dear to my heart.
