Season 4 is out, have you guys watched it? They just did their Christmas episode. I’ll be honest, the season started really strong, now the episodes seem a bit average in quality. Not that that’s a bad thing or anything, I especially love the self-references to past episode content, but the first and third episodes were just So. Freaking. Amazing. I think they’re hard to top!
Episode 3 is my fave, bringing back Mr. PBG as a professor of African American women studies! The whole “you S.O.B., I’m in!” joke was great. “Gleer, play your piano!” “I quit! And the name’s Glar!” Also Jerry floating away was pretty good I guess, I just thought snake planet was a weird angle.
I’m hoping they do a third interdimensional cable episode. I also hope they plan on getting us a new season every year, not this 1.5-2 years between season stuff. I think they have 70 more episodes on order and are focusing on making their deadlines more often. They’ve got a huge cash cow on their hands, if they’re smart, Harmon and Roiland will focus up and pour all their professional energy into it.
