the head honcho comes down to our work area, apologizing, that two people called in, and one guy left early, but he only was speaking to Peggy and Darren. I get it, I just started, it’s how it goes, I was excluded.

Him. I’m sure he’s paid too.
Sheri, he should have been speaking to you, to encourage you to stay.
He should have included you but if this is just a one time thing it may have just been an oversight on his part. If it is a pattern maybe mention it and he may not even notice he’s doing it…or maybe he’s just an ass.

I was like that when I was younger.
People at my work talk in whispers to each other in the office sometimes. I just ignore it. I’m not into gossip or drama at all

I’ve had the pleasure of working with only one boss who was absolute hell-spawn. I cast every spell I could to insure that one day she wouldn’t make it to work.
