Working at a full time job while dealing wth sz

Dows anybody out there have a full time job while managing their sz.

Pretty close to it. I am working for myself and getting some family support while I build things up. I freelance/contract in design (web/print). I found it impossible to work a regular schedule. I feel trapped very easily and my brain starts to feel like it’s breaking. I need flexibility. It’s also imperative that I can control my environment. I have a home office and I sometimes work remotely. If I don’t feel up to going out I am great working from home. Controlling external stimuli is key for me. Sound/light/temperature impact me very strongly. Being able to manage that and know no one is there watching me and micromanaging keeps me feeling safe and calm (as much as is ever possible

That sounds miserable. I got fired from McDonalds after three weeks. Good service is not my forte. But I am a pretty good cook.

it ain’t easy. but the work habit for me grew with me. trying helps.

I am good to the place of employment and good to myself. that’s how I get by.

I’m pretty close to full time… it’s a flexible schedule and I’m mostly alone out in the parks…

It helps that I’m not in an office with a lot of people all day… and I get my stack of work orders and I just go do them…

If I could figure out a way to work at home I’d love that too. That seems to be the trend in general anyway. That is to work out of the home from our computers. Congratulations on finding a way to make that happen. Quite commendable!

Thanks

I pay a minimal monthly fee to work from a remote office space when I can, but I’m finding I work best when I am in control of my space, so I spend a day or so a week there. I get crap for not “wanting” to go get a full time job. Mainly from industry colleagues who see freelance as something you do after you work for other people for years.
