A while back there was a thread where people were posting their daily Wordle games. I thought I would start a thread to share our stats. I recently hit 100 games, of those I lost 6.
94% and your guess distribution is basically giving everyone the finger. good job
My streak is 93 days. I use these 3 words to start off and it works for me.

My strategy was this. I looked up the 10 most commonly used letters in the English language according to the Oxford English Concise dictionary. I also learned that more words begin with S than any other letter.
Using those two tidbits of information I came to the conclusion that “stare” is the best starting word. Statistically more likely to get greens and yellows on the first guess. I then make sure my next guess uses those yellow and green letters.
Of course it’s possible that there will be days when the daily Wordle doesn’t contain any of those letters…but that is rare. On those rare days I use “cloud” as my second guess.
I’m not worried about my streak. I don’t play every day.
I’m at 94% wins, too. And the distribution is similar. I use TRAIN to begin.
That’s a good starting word. It uses the top 10 most commonly used letters. You’re more likely to get greens and yellows on your first try. That might help explain why you have done so well.
According to the Oxford English Concise Dictionary the top 10 most commonly used letters in the English language are, in order:
Vowels: E - A - I - O
Consonants: R - T - N - S - L - C
Best to start with words that use those letters to improve your chances of getting greens and yellows on your first guess.
