Kinda makes sense to me. The idea of sensory perception affected bc I noticed my sensation of pain went up after developing g schizophrenia - I used to feel strong and unbreakable but nowadays, a little pinch hurts.

It said in th article the effect of the disconnect in self perception leads to more extreme perceptions of internal sounds (pain may well also be an internal perception item?)
