I like competing against normals. Sure it’s hard in work life and other things but when it works it’s so worth it. Beyond normal. That is where I’m at

Hey, I’m not saying being normal is everybody’s goal or that it should be; but it does make life easier. And all my therapists can claim that they don’t know what “normal” means but on some level everybody knows the difference between “normal” and “weird”.

I’m perfectly fine with not being normal. Like I said. I just want to be able to enjoy life more. And slowly, I think I am improving in this area.

ha ha yeah i get some of those too every now and then. Sometimes I want to tell them to just breathe. Its ironic for us to tell someone else to please be calm
I guess the bonus of mental illness is the amount of learning you can undergo about mental health. If I had never gotten severe mental illness I could easily of never learned to manage my emotions or thought processes

Customer has an insurance company trying to subrogate against him for three quarters of a mil. Doesn’t want to put in a claim. “My insurance will go up!” Dude, will it go up by $750K? Nyet. Also, this is WHY you have the insurance. People just think of insurance in terms of a payout. Having a statement of claim filed against you triggers the duty to defend on the part of the insurer. That means their legal team (bahstard sharks in suits) spring into action on your behalf, and the insurance company picks up the legal tab. This is a good thing and one of the best values of an insurance policy.
