Richard Pryor is a legend. He really laid the groundwork for a lot of comedians who came after him.

The comedian who killed himself was Robin Williams. Yeah he was funny. But it was surreal to see his last stand up where he talked about suicide way too much.

He paid a huge price for it. A lot of very funny people have a very bitter side to them. Mark Twain was very funny, and he was one of the most bitter persons I know of. And Robin Williams killed himself. I think a lot of great comedians become addicted to the manic high they get from being so funny. In Richard Pryor’s case he got addicted to cocaine, and it nearly destroyed him.
