I’ve always wondered this. Was it the same guy who invented the semi-colon? I bet he made millions off of it and the royalties are probably still pouring in.

Mini research project:
So, apparently it was invented by some man named Henry Denham in the 1580s. It was used for rhetorical questions but became unpopular as tastes changed. In modern time, Matt DiRoberto (such an Italian name XD) revived its use.

Semi-colon was created by Aldus Manutius the Elder in 1494.
Man, I want a cool name like that. Sharp the Elder. Maybe Sharp the Great. The Great Sharpii. Idk…XD

Oooh I like em all, can’t choose XD. I would be the Younger, because I’m in the younger bracket of the site. But, also the second and third ones are quite fabulous.
