Who here has SZA- Bipolar type?

I don’t really want to be on them but I can’t really function without them @anon99082702
I’m on Depakote and Lamictal at the moment but I’ve been on Lithium and Tegretol in the past as well.
You get used to taking them.
I would listen to your doctors @anon99082702

I believe I am. Do you know what a tell sign is? I was diagnosed bipolar for 10 years befor I got locked up. Then they just kinda never told me what I should be “labeled” as. I have symptoms of every variant of this damn sickness. I don’t get tactile hallucinations tho

I have schizoaffective bipolar subtype, currently exiting a short manic episode. I take Latuda and Caplyta to help with delusions and hallucinations. And I take lithium for mood stabilization.

Does sza make someone profoundly sad? I don’t talk for days sometimes.hallucinations are there but I really don’t care about them anymore. I still don’t exactly what the difference between affective and just sz is

I’ve been diagnosed with sza, bipolar type for 28 years now. I’m on Risperdal Consta shots, Geodon and Seroquel (all AP’s), and Celexa (an AD).

Yes, sza can make you profoundly sad. It can even make you suicidal without treatment.

I’m not suicidal but I have a suicidal idealology (dunno if that’s a word lol)

I mean if what I understand is true there’s no way I’m not affective

sZA is a combination of Sz symptoms with a mood component, like bipolar or chronic depression.
