Are there any gold wholesalers around you? There is a place called the Clark building downtown here, and the jewelers there are way cheaper than the stores.
If I am completely honest I know some Indian jewellers, (well my mum does) and we can get 22ct chain for around the price of a 14ct chain … but I have found that the 22ct from Indian jewellers we know is not very good quality or craftsmanship… so I don’t mind paying more for 14ct and Costco are usually reasonable for this.

Yes I have a few 22ct chains… the yellow is more pronounced as well…
