I ate dates once but don’t know what type they were. They were pretty good though i’m sure about that.

They are sort of like natural hard candy with a unique flavor that I dont know how to describe that’s what I remember.

Not really a thing in the US I don’t think. They sold a lot of them in the Middle East but I didn’t care for them. Only tried one though. Might have gotten a bad one.
They look like big raisins.

As for me, the best date (in a calendar year) would probably be my birthday, followed by New Year’s. But as I age, this preference might shift to Xmas.
