I was born in Eugene, Oregon, and I still live here and I love this place. I love fog, cloudy skies and rain and we get a lot of all of them. We’re surrounded by fully functioning farms, so we can usually get really fresh and ripe veggies and fruits, when in season. Same thing with eggs. We can even get fresh duck eggs at certain times of the year and they are so much better tasting than chicken eggs in my opinion. Our city made the decision long before I was born to build an elaborate bicycle path away from car traffic, that goes everywhere I need to go, and it is so much safer than riding on the streets with the cars. We even have little bridges over the river that are just for us bicyclists and pedestrians, so we get to take all sorts of short cuts that cars can’t use. Eugene is big enough to have almost everything I want, and lots of things to do thanks to it being a college town (the University Of Oregon is here), but not so big that it has tons of crime. And the ocean beaches of Florence, Oregon are just a relatively short distance away, so in the summer when it gets a bit hot, we can go over there and escape the heat. Florence, Oregon never gets hot thanks to the ocean breezes.

Oregon is a pretty cool state. I’ve only been to Portland however. I’ve always been intrigued by the west coast. Specifically the NW. even lived in Olympia Washington for 4 months. Was fun.

I feel so lucky to have been born here. I’ve been on vacations with my family in the past to various parts of the U.S., but I am always glad to get back to Oregon. The other part of the country that I like a lot is Vermont.

Yeah Vermont is totally the best state on the east coast only problem has the winters way too cold.

But I’d like to visit Vermont more often. My friends friend is up there so we have a place to stay if I go with him.

Pretty much you can judge a state by its freedom to allow you to smoke pot lol
