Do you think the Invega injections are blocking my feel good dopamine receptors and the coffee stimulates them so I get nice little rushes of euphoria? Do normal people get rushes of euphoria when they drink coffee or is it the imbalance in my brain? Do you think without the medication I would become manic if I feel euphoria on only one cup off coffee? Is this a normal feeling? I know when I get the excited euphoria feeling it so makes me want to be manic again.

Hey it’s funny I actually was reading something about this just. Few hours ago. coffee actually spikes up adrenaline which causes energy from sugar and fat stores to be released into the blood stream. That’s why coffee makes you feel so energetic.

I was pretty caffeine and nicotine naive until I went to collage. Then I would buzz off my morning coffee. It is a noticeable buzz you get off coffee for sure.
When I first started drinking coffee I got a good feeling from it too. I’d dream my way through the morning, and be depressed in the evening. Now I’ve consumed so much caffeine it doesn’t have any effect on me. I’ve noticed that alcohol felt better when I was on Prolixin. I wouldn’t want to take that drug again, though.

It depends. Sometimes I have a really divine cup of coffee, othertimes the coffee is terrible. Usually it’s when I’ve gone without coffee a few days that I get a good cup of coffee when I break the drought.
I haven’t noticed before, but I guess I do feel a bit happier after I’ve had caffeine unless I have too much of it, in which case I get anxious and stuck in my thoughts.
No, it is not normal. You are one who should probably not have caffeine intake.
I do not have bipolar and I used to get euphoria drinking coffee. Now I am used to it and sadly do not get euphoria anymore wen drinking it

I don’t get euphoria from caffeinated coffee but it does keep me awake at night if I drink it. So, I only drink 100% decaffeinated coffee.
