I took a drafting class in 11th grade. It was pretty neat but it was hard. I took a mythology class in seventh grade that I liked.
u.s history was my favorite class academically, but i also had a weight lifting class my senior year and i liked that.
I was really good at lunch.
Jk!
My favorite class would have been welding.
In high school mathematics. In college game theory, sociology and public health.
In high school it was choir.
I was in University for Biology but I had to take a few courses outside of science as a degree requirement. I took 2 courses in economics. Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. I really enjoyed those, the subject just clicked in my brain and made sense to me like no other subject, and it opened my eyes to how the world economy works, I got an A in both courses without even trying. I think those 2 courses were my favourite. That was 20 years ago so Iāve forgotten some of it but I remember the basics, supply and demand.
In high school my favourite course was Finite Mathematics. It was a course that was required for acceptance into University. The teacher gave out āproblems of the weekā which were obscure math problems and he would give me grades like 12/10 (120%) on almost all of them because my answers were so detailed and well thought out. I never got a grade below 10/10 on those assignments and that was rare.
Oddly enough the type of thinking required in my math teachers āproblems of the weekā and the type of thinking required in economics were similar and it just came naturally to me. I love science but I have sometimes wondered if I went into the wrong degree program in University. I guess it doesnāt matter now, I had to drop out due to schizophrenia, I have a year and bit left for my Biology degree and I donāt feel like starting over in a new degree.
I took a wine tasting class in college. It was very informative and professional but after class we could stick around and get lit up on the leftovers.
Same for me, I mostly took psychology courses for electives. My goal was learn more about mental illness and schizophrenia which I did before joining this forum. I learned about sz on this forum too.
in evening college i really enjoyed computer networks the practical class⦠it was fun
Yeah, Iāve learned a lot about schizophrenia here too. Especially about negative symptoms, my problems were primarily positive symptoms and the pdocs never mentioned much about negatives to me so I didnāt know a lot about them.
My favorite class was Wildlife Biology!! It was so fun. I loved learning about animals, in great detail.
Lol sounds like a nice class to me wish I had that after philosophy class
Philosophy was my favourite
I took an evolutionary biology class in first year. It was just an intro class but super interesting seeing how we evolved and how we connected with the animal world. Thereās a guy named Francis of Assisi who would call animals his brothers and sisters and I would 100% agree. Weāre all related. Literally.
I agree! I call my pets our children, but Hubby prefers calling them our friends. I think of them as my friends, too, but I kinda go into mama mode sometimes.
Like when Hubby gets home, before he walks through the door, I tell Wesley (dog) that Dad is home! And then Wesley gets all super excited!
Me too. Iām definitely a cat mom.
I would say my favorite was āU.S. Foreign Relationsā in high school. That teacher got more work out of us, and it wasnāt because he was piling on the assignments. We wanted to do it because we found the class so interesting.
