Is there any tracking systems in place that document how many users are active at one particular time? And if so what time is that and in what time zone?
That’s a good question, the only stats I know about are here (but nothing about who’s on): forum.schizophrenia.com/about
Maybe you can start a poll and ask what time zone people are in! I know that there’s people from pretty much every continent on here. When I’m manic I don’t sleep at all and I notice it calms down here at night my time but not by all that much.
I’m Pacific Time (it’s 10pm here)
I checked and couldn’t find hour by hour stats. Things like who is on at any given time and day by day stats exist, but aren’t generally accessible.
Would @SzAdmin have access to something like this? And I will make that poll.
No - I can’t find anything in the system reporting that tracks hourly usage. Just daily totals.
The closest thing i have seen to that is a thread here. It is often called the good morning/goodnight thread.
Someone, Arturo if remember right, usually posted one once a week. I think i seen a couple others make good morning/night thread too.
It dont fit exactly nice and neat to a time frame because people will answer it when they find. It can give us a good idea when certain people are more or less active here.
Try posting one yourself?
I’m Central Standard Time.
Probably in the American evening…
Interesting. I wonder if it’s possible to link up with some sort of data collecting people/agency to get that information. I think it would give people a better idea of when to visit for a more timely response.
Since all of us users are in different time zones, the average active user time in relation to each zone would be a great tool for moderators and users alike.
What an awesome idea, and resourceful too. Ill have to start one.
That’s what I thought too but even in the US there are six time zones. The furthest of which are 5 hours apart. That means some people are in the middle of dinner and others are well into deep sleep depending on which coast they’re on.
