Yeah steak with chips or onion rings, peas and egg but I like mine well done.

The microwave cooks good asparagus. Just put as many spears as you want on a plate with a few tablespoons of water and cook on high for about a couple of minutes. Youāll have to learn through trial and error exactly how long it takes.

Lasagne perhaps but itās expensive and takes a long time to make.
I make it vegan with vegan cheese bechamelle and oven baked veggies .
I think I have sundried tomatoes in it too.
I donāt make it often.

Jambalaya for sure. Chicken and sausage. I make it my own way. Lots of onions, bell peppers and celery. I love celery.

I donāt have many what I would call proper home-made meals . Mostly itās something + savoury rice/pasta in sauce from a packet . I do a spag bol , but not like I used to . I used to use tomato puree. Now I use a jar of pasta sauce.
Iāve lost a lot of confidence re cooking. I was never a good cook, but would make reasonably OK spag bol/macaroni cheese/chicken casseroleā¦
I miss my motherās and wifeās cooking, both in their prime were great cooks.
