Back in the 1970’s the government tried to have the US go Metric, but the people resisted their efforts so we are still on the old measurement system.
I lived in North America for two years of my life. Had to learn to drive on the wrong side of the road for us and miles and farenheit still confuse me.
I think we’re the ones in the minority on this one!

It was 25f when I woke up, 36f now.

I was a pilot so I can relate to Celsius and Fahrenheit. 15 degrees Celsius is considered the average day when performing weight and balance calculations. I think that’s 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
But when people say how many stone or Kilograms they weigh I am clueless.
Where I am it’s 33F or .5C.
