Potatoes and hot women? Tax haven? Beautiful green countryside and historic castle and stuff. A place where my ancestors came from.

This is just coming from an ignorant Californian who’s never been to Ireland.

Ive always pictured green rolling hills, crisp cool air, fresh rain. The culture has always seemed welcoming, specially over a pint. Warm stews and roasts, debating football with a friend.

That’s what Ireland conjures up in my mind.
Hope that helps

I have never been to Ireland but I am half Irish. The Irish are known for drinking too much. We have alcoholism.
