I’m on 150mg of Invega a month injection. How do I know if I’m a zombie? I can’t remember what I felt like before I was diagnosed with SZA and injected with antipsychotics. It has become normal.
I’m only on one low dose of an antipsychotic and antidepressant. I believe I don’t need much meds because I’m in my fifties. I was once on five medicines and felt frozen but I eventually started feeling again at least a little bit. I know what it’s like to be heavily medicated and I was most of my life.
It feels like I feel right now. I am getting off this trazodone starting tomorrow.

to me it feels like there is no talking at all in my head and complete silence…no thoughts… no will… no desire… no sense of humor. no personality. thats what zombie means to me

Ok here I hear people don’t like olanzapine (zyprexa) but it worked for me… gonna see a new pdoc, see if he agrees!
I can’t take olanzapine as when I did I put 5 stone on in 6 months. 70ibs. I refuse to take it.
That’s true it’s possible side effect!

It is possible that you might not realize how sedated or “zombified” you are without having insight into it while in a constant state of sedation.

If you read the post about negative and cognitive symptoms from dec 2023 dec. You Will realize that around 50% of the people here had zumbiefeelings although they were on some of the newest antipsychotics.
The folks had exactly my Zoombie personallity.
Let me mention how they felt. Couldnt cry over something sad. Couldnt lagh. Had no motivation. Had a ■■■■■ mind. Couldnt watch T.v. They hadnt the energy to engage in social life. There feelings was numbed. Could`nt feel joy and much more.
Can I relate to this.
Yes. Every day I suffer all the mentioned effect/side effects.
But I have no psychosis and neither did all those people.
So yes you must pay the prize ofemptiness in your mind if you want to become totally symptomfree.

But Ill just add to all those of you who have got cleared your mind. Dont touch your antipsychotics cause we must take them to keep ourselves and people safe from our illness.
I Think that the reason for my careless playing around with my pills is boredom.
