I am cooking a Russian Sockey salmon fillet 1 lb… $2.99 - $6.99 a lb depending on who I talk to at store…beats Walmart by a mile at $14 per 12 ounces of Alaska…ugh…good price for Sockeye and I am in US…who says Russia and US are enemies? huh?
anyways
Sockeye salmon with loads of black pepper and an organic onion, a little sweet potato slices thrown in, and some barbecue sauce…
This is not it, but this was a veggie dish I made last year…same pan and stove though as now…
Wow the salmon is done…and it tastes fresh caught…that taste you only get from fresh caught fish…it loses that after awhile if not frozen right…that Russian fish must have been frozen immediately after catch and taste saved…
Thank You Russia…ya’ll is awesome! thank you Ozernaya River !!! and Mr Tarazov!
keep it fresh…i have not tasted salmon so fresh since I actually lived in Alaska…I have no clue how the Russians pulled that one off, but it must have been a quick freeze…
i must go eat more…
This could be served in a gourmet restaurant…this is like some of the best sockeye I have ever had…and I have eaten them fresh…its like the perfect fish and the perfect handling and freezing…this came from the Kamchatka peninsula…who knows when it was caught… nice job …I worked in fish canneries before in Alaska…compliments where compliments are due, and Russia, you rock…this is delicious…
