neighbors having a big party, im gonna stay home all day, no travelling or anything. i hate 4th of july because peope light off fireworks all night when im trying to sleep. fireworks are legal here in indiana.

I do nothing on July 4th. When I lived in America I went to Miami to celebrate July 4th. When I lived in my auto in Miami I went to the port of Miami to see all fireworks they had. Later in the evening I walked around Miami Beach.

@Wave Make sure you keep your puppy securely in the house in case fireworks scare her.
My little dog is terrified of fireworks. They’re illegal where I live but there are plenty of jerks who set them off anyway.

I’m taking a college class starting August 23, and will be studying a book on writing papers. I haven’t written a paper for a college class in years. I’m 62 now.

I lost a cat on the 4th of July. I couldn’t get her inside before the fireworks started early.
I later saw a description that matched her on the local Humane society or whatever website. She was way out at the edge of the neighborhood trying to run across a major street, must have been hit by a car.
I felt absolutely horrible and every year when the fireworks start going off I think of her.
I loved her dearly. She was my best friend during the worst of my illness, when I was off meds for over two years.

If the weather is nice enough, I’m going to be sitting out on my balcony, drinking coffee and sparkling flavored water, and watching the fireworks.
