Never read it but I hear it’s Tolstoy’s masterpiece.
Did they make a movie about it?
I might be getting it confused with Dr Zhivago which got the Criterion treatment on DVD.
Edit, I was wrong. The movie War and Peace is the film that got the Criterion treatment for DVD.

I think there is a Russian language movie, I liked this TV series, it is a English version of War and Peace. In my childhood home we had this book version but I never read it then. Now I had a chance to watch it. I recommend.
