I strained my calf muscle a week ago at my work just by walking. My boss filled out workmens comp papers for me and got me an appointment at the doctors the next morning. I’m supposed to stay off my leg, I’m not even supposed to walk or stand up for more than 5 minutes in an hour. I kind of like the time off but its a little boring so its a mixed blessing.

Take the doctors’ advice and rest.
You can always mind jog,I could use two weeks off, but I got enough pain without it.
Enjoy your two weeks! Listen to music, watch movies, that sort of stuff. You can give us your observations of a sedentary life.

A few weeks ago I was in a cast for a sprained foot. It really helped me to get back into reading. The break was rejuvenating even though a bit boring.
