Anyone else struggle with them ? Mine like to gossip about all their daughter in laws between all of us.

When my mother in law was alive, we struggled a lot.
And my husband is a total “mama’s boy”.
Also an only child.
It was super difficult to navigate.
I wish I had advice for you, but all I can do is say you’re not alone in that.

Yup.
Well, my mother in laws side likes to gossip and my mother in law has made it pretty obvious she favors my husbands ex over me. But I’m kind of over it. He married me anyways, so his moms gonna have to deal with it.
My father in laws side isn’t too bad. They are nice.

In my case. My brother in laws were very friendly before that when my father in law give about 10 gm of pure gold to my wife from their old treasure. My wife has four more sisters. And my father in law gave all of them the same amount of pure gold.
When this news came to my brother in laws, their mind changed and a lot of fight between brother and sister of their family was going on. Now my sister in laws are ready to file court case for the part of their inheritance of lands.

We cut off the inlaws about 6 years ago. Tgey were abusive to my husband is whole life, but he finally saw it when his mother tried to be that way to our children and accused us of being abusive! As if.
She thought she was going to tell lies to my friend that also happened to live with us for 2 years. Friend told her off, blocked her, and sent me screenshots.
