Tomorrow I will ask to go to prison

I want to go to prison in Israel.
I will want to get out only on condition that I can move abroad.

Prisons generally make mental illness worse, not better. What happened to your plans to go to the hospital? That is your best bet for recovery. I understand that you have been unmedicated for four years. The longer you go without medication, the greater the chances are that you won’t recover from SZ in a meaningful fashion.

Getting treatment is something you need to do NOW if you’re going to have any hope of recovery!

To take antipsychotics for me now would be very frustrating.
Why not earlier then?
I have deteriorated a great deal since disease onset.
Which do you recommend?
Do you thing quetiapine is good?

Please go to the hospital, not prison. Prison will make you so much worse.

Taking antipsychotics is always frustrating, that hasn’t changed for me over 25 years. But it is VASTLY preferable to being incredibly sick and suicidal all the time. I have a very good quality of life (wife, kid, job) that would not be possible without my meds.

You will keep deteriorating without meds. The best outcomes are generally associated with early treatment. The longer treatment and medication is avoided, the less likely complete recovery is. Do you want to be trapped in this hell forever? If not, get to a doctor and get treated!

I have no idea which medication is good for you. It’s up to your doctor to help you get on a medication that works. Me telling you what meds to take would be a bad idea.

Good luck.

I don’t want to be rude or insulting but I don’t think gay people with mental illnesses do very well in prison. Being those two things makes predators eyes light up with love, joy, and lust as soon as you walk inside those gates. But on the bright side, you’ll be extremely popular with Ace, Bubba, and Snake.

Prison is bad because it is hard to be put in solitary confinement, therefore you would end up with some sociopaths.
