Are cast shadows or self shadows the darkest? I have forgotten, does anybody know?
Self shadows are usually darker.
Also, that is one giant tree, at least in my perception.
Yeah I need to think through the proportions of objects when I draw. It’s probably too big yeah.
But the self shadow of a white object is lighter than its cast shadow on a dark surface. I hope that makes sense.
you have a real style…I’m impressed…the shadows I believe get dimmer the farther they are away…it wouldn’t hurt to try and add some color to your drawing?
Yeah I will try some color soon I think. 
Just going black and white for now so I can focus on the shading more, since I need to learn that.
