The start of spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern.
I like this time of year, not too hot not too cold. What do you think of it?

The daylight overcoming the darkness is celebrated at Easter it used to be a pagan festival. Easter is always the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
