To be brutally honest

contraception made my parents lazy and fat.

I really don’t think lazy is a good word it has negative connotations.

there is always a justifiable reason why someone is ‘lazy’

having said that

I am also against hormonal contraception…what about you?

After my mother’s tubal ligation, she became very negative about pregnancy all because she couldn’t do it anymore. She totally rejected me. I was always unable to conceive. I had never had so much of a fantasy about being a healthy grownup. Both my parents were intimidating about it.

I find it hard to talk with my mum.

sorry to hear that Chordy

It sounds like you’re looking for something to blame for their inadequacy. I doubt contraception did anything but prevent conception and possibly cause severe depression.

It’s taken me 75 years to become aware of who my parents were. I’m not wrong.

I think you have a misunderstanding of how contraception works then.

I don’t. I identified with my mother. It is so painful, it is blocked out.

I think it’s a wrong thing to say for all those who are on contraception, and don’t consider themselves lazy and fat. I’m lazy and fat but it’s not because I can’t have any more kids. I need to work on myself.

Gals, Guys, Gals And Guys, And Guys And Gals

Stop Calling Yourself “lazy & fat”.

O.k.!.
