I’ll say it. It’s absurd to identify as a bird. It’s a mockery of those that identify as a certain human gender or the other. If these people are serious, they are taking things too far. Imma start identifying as a squirrel and ask people to refer to me with the “clikitklak” and “hissssss” pronouns.

Like I said, its a mockery of those who use different pronouns in a legit way.

That’s my opinion. Feel free to flag me if I’m outta line.

I’ve dreamt I was a bird.

Indians also believe in Spirit Animals.

Some people take it a step further.

My best friend is trans. This is offensive :triumph:

They are deadly serious…

These people as you say are just making a mockery of the whole thing.

I personally couldn’t give a ■■■■ what someones pronouns are, as it’s just not important to me

But I will respect whatever someone wants to explicitly be referred to as out of politeness and respect.

This, is just going a bit too far for me…

All these self identifying labels are ridiculous

I feel like some of these people aren’t really LGBT. It feels like appropriation sometimes.

I grew up with the knowledge that some people were unmistakably trans, but their goal was to transition from he to she or she to he. Nobody was trying to be a “they” or anything else. The whole point of being trans was getting to your rightful place in the gender binary. Without respecting that binary being trans seems to lose a lot of its meaning.

That being said I will gladly use he/she/they, whatever a person prefers among those, but I won’t use any of the made up pronouns. I’m still on the fence about non binary but I don’t mind calling someone they if it makes them happy.

I am my own species and gender, unique and unrepeatable. I belong in a museum after I die.
