Teh tarik (literally “pulled tea”) is a hot milk tea beverage which can be commonly found in restaurants, outdoor stalls and kopi tiams in southeastern Asian countries of Malaysia and Singapore. Its name is derived from the pouring process of “pulling” the drink during preparation. It is made from black tea, condensed milk and/or evaporated milk. It is also considered as the national drink of Malaysia.[1]
Thank you for sharing that recipe. I’ll try to use it the next time I’m entertaining. I’ll make it for my brother and his wife, so they can help me with it too.

I grew up with Lipton Black tea, so I like that. Lately I’ve been sweetening it with maple syrup for something different. My bf’s parents make the syrup so I have an unlimited supply of grade A stuff.
Ooh, home made maple syrup, that’s the good stuff! I used to love when we’d get honey with part of the comb in it. It is such a special treat. Cane syrup is the choice for the older generation of southerners. My granddaddy used to love it.
In any seasons, Tea is one of the most beverage for all. Green, black like that in tea we can see many fragrances. Each of them is good for health. If we take it as twice in a day then it will be good for all.
We buy ours from a local store that hand blends bulk tea leaves (organic). Our fave is ‘blue mango’. It’s a flowery smelling green tea with a hint of citrus. It’s good enough that I miss my coffee less.
