You are creating unneeded challenges for people who are barely surviving.
For me, for example surviving is very challenging and I don’t need any extra challenges to deal with.
I am a minimalist.
My goal is to survive and nothing else.
And even that is very difficult.

@anon76219695, stay strong my friend. Life is merely a blink in the history of the universe - try not to place so much emphasis on romantic relationships. There are women out there who can’t find boyfriends too - it works both ways.
Remember, you can only do what you can do. Just try your best in life, and if you achieve your aims, great - if not, then that’s just what nature had planned for you. Live life the best you can and let nature take care of the rest. One cannot push a river

negative symptoms are likely issues with neurotransmitters, short acting brain chemicals rather than hormones long acting brain/body chemicals. oxytocin is not going to cure negative symptoms, more likely glutamate or dopamine.
Oxytocin nasal sprays are not powerful stuff. Even if they have an effect, the effect is likely to be small, which could be the reason for the inconsistent results. It doesn’t cross the blood-brain barrier very well, so it wouldn’t be possible to make it more potent by using pills or injections. You’re probably better off just paying for hugs until they find some other way to stimulate oxytocin pathways in the brain.

Does this sound like they’ve found a biomarker for who benefits?
