Thinking about upgrading the kids to new iphones. Is there a cheaper model for the accident prone?
Same, I got my phone new for 139$.
i recenly had an iphone 6 it was really good. and probably the best phone i ever had
Yeah the iPhone 6 and 6S were my favorite iPhones.
They don’t make them anymore though.
The iPhone SE is pretty affordable for an iPhone @Ninjastar but battery life isn’t the greatest.
I have Apple Care, it’s like insurance for the phone.
I watched the event and it was a year of not very much change
I have a 12 pro max which I saved £350 buying off eBay still sealed!
Was a gamble but it paid off
@bobbilly your phone will still be worth a lot next year if you don’t have damage
I would but not for an iphone.
Why don’t you like Apple @anon9798425?
Their products are overpriced fashion statements, their OS is crappy and for tech dummies that find options and customizations mind-boggling, they try to push their products on their customers by making them less durable and making their lifespans shorter, they charge extreme amounts for cheap accessories like chargers because they know people will lose them and have to replace them, and they try to make repairs so expensive and prohibitive that you just buy a new product.
They’re really just a very shitty company in general, with pretty subaverage products.
I agree with you on some points but I disagree with you on iPhones being sub average products.
I find them to be very high quality durable products, no glitches, unlike Androids.
I’ve had iPhones lasting many years.
They are just very expensive
i used to hate on apple too lol until i got an iphone 6 and i realized how quality they are. To this day there are iphone 4’s in the classifieds that still work, so that shows how long they last. Im actually an apple guy now, i like the freedom of android but they always break and can be confusing.
brand new, for me, they are a little expensive but maybe that just cause im poor haha. i mean how much could they possibly be overpriced? $100? in the grand scheme its not that much and theyre pretty powerful machines. only thing im afraid of is dropping or losing it which i do all the time
Yeah I would pay more for a durable case for your phone @POET
i have an iphone 11 and ive dropped it so many times, i use an otterbox case and tempered glass screen protector, case is wearing away and screen protector is scratched and has small chips but if i were to take it all off itd still look brand new, i liked my 6s but had to replace the battery which was pretty easy but then i gave it to my mom for a backup phone for work.
all iphones 6s and newer still get updates i believe, a used 7 plus with large storage may be a good phone
