Interesting, but the effect sizes are so tiny: an OR of about 1.0006 means that one has a 0.06% higher chance of having a condition. I recently came across a study in which the presence of phthalates in an elevated concentration in a pregnant woman’s urine was associated with an OR of 1.1 of her subsequent postpartum depression, which is a 10% higher chance.

Falls in Oct 2021. Fractured femur revealed by x ray 7 weeks later. Dx of premature osteoporosis given a little while later.
