I am planning on going to sleep soon and dont feel like reading the whole article atm, but just by the title, I would have to wonder if this couldn’t be a “chicken or the egg” thing.

Meaning, is it really loneliness that causes psychosis, or is it possible that those that are more prone to psychosis tend to not like to socialize/be sociable as much?

It’s likely a correlation and not a cause/effect scenario. Similar to illicit drug (pot) use and sz. One doesn’t cause or create the other; rather the predisposition to mi linking the two.
