I hope they aren’t real whiskers… If you cut a cats whiskers off that’s definitely absolutely without a doubt animal abuse. Cats become very disoriented and frightened if their whiskers are cut.

Whiskers enable cats to gauge and make sense of their environment. It’s basically like if I were to cut off your sense of touch. You would have a hard time getting around.

Their whiskers are like our fingertips. It helps them figure out what’s dangerous and if they can fit through something.

Your cat could hurt themself if this is the case. But I’m hoping it’s not. I’m pretty sure it’s common sense to not do something like that. But if it isn’t don’t beat yourself up over it too much, JUST NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

(This also goes for bunnies)

They were collected by my husband, over the course of about 3 years from the floor from our two cats and have been sat in my husband’s desk in a small bag collected one by one from natural shedding
no cats were harmed i would never do that in a million years
